ApresentaçãoPresentation
The degree in Fashion and Textile Design and Production is distinguished by its multifaceted approach to fashion, covering both the digital and handmade aspects, both the industrial and designer fashion aspects, while emphasizing a sustainable approach throughout the various processes. In terms of training, as well as focusing on the creative process in fashion design, it also covers other surrounding areas such as photography, production, communication, audiovisuals, pattern-making, dressmaking, textiles or printing, among others, which will enhance students' autonomy and independence as fashion professionals in the future. This degree is also relevant to the region where the course is located, since components linked to corporate design and textiles for decoration are covered throughout the course. These areas are of particular interest to the region and its communities, given the importance of tourism and hospitality in Algarve.
