Creative workshops inspire families with creativity and sustainability
The Quinta Pedagógica de Portimão recently hosted a special workshop as part of the BiomaterialKit project, promoting the reuse of biomaterials to create objects and creative ideas with children and their parents.
The activity provided moments of learning and fun, practically demonstrating the recipes developed by BiomaterialKit. During the workshop, participants explored how simple ingredients, commonly found in their kitchens, can be transformed into sustainable and innovative materials.
Both children and parents were fascinated by the possibilities offered by this creative process, which combines sustainability and imagination. The experiences carried out showed that small actions can have a significant impact, not only on the environment but also on how future generations perceive the importance of the circular economy.
This workshop reinforces BiomaterialKit’s commitment to raising awareness and engaging the community in adopting more conscious and sustainable practices, promoting positive change through education and creativity.
