On 25th February, the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT) hosted the visit of the Erasmus Coordinator, Mercedes Pereira, and the coordinator of the Fashion Design course at ESSDM – Escuela Superior Sevilla de Moda, Glória Vicente.
During the visit, the coordinators had the opportunity to tour the ISMAT facilities, including equipment, model-making and sewing workshop spaces, and share experiences on teaching and innovation in the fashion sector. The meeting emphasised the importance of international collaboration under the Erasmus+ Programme, promoting future opportunities for exchange and academic partnerships between the two institutions.
The visit highlighted ISMAT's commitment to strengthening its network of cooperation with European fashion schools, fostering the growth and internationalisation of fashion education in Portugal.
ISMAT thanks ESSDM for the visit and the enriching exchange of knowledge, hoping this marks the beginning of a fruitful partnership between the two institutions.
