On 25th February, the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT) welcomed the visit of the Erasmus Coordinator, Mercedes Pereira, and the coordinator of the Fashion Design course at ESSDM – Escuela Superior Sevilla de Moda, Glória Vicente.
During the visit, the coordinators had the opportunity to explore the facilities of ISMAT, including equipment, workshop spaces for pattern making and garment construction, and to share experiences on teaching and innovation in the fashion sector. The meeting reinforced the importance of international collaboration within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme, promoting future exchange opportunities and academic partnerships between the two institutions.
The visit highlighted ISMAT’s commitment to strengthening its cooperation network with European fashion schools, fostering the growth and internationalisation of fashion education in Portugal.
ISMAT thanks ESSDM for the visit and the enriching exchange of knowledge, hoping this will mark the beginning of a fruitful partnership between the two institutions.
