According to the event's organisers, the exhibition aims to create, on the one hand, a space to showcase the best of what is being thought and designed in Portugal
ISMAT is delighted to inform you that the work of students Isadora Silva and Raquel Cunha, developed as part of the degree in Fashion and Textile Design and Production, will be exhibited at the 1st Funchal Biennial of Art and Design, more specifically at the Design Laboratories at the Jesuit College, between 11 April and 27 May.
According to the event's organisers, the "exhibition aims to create, on the one hand, a space to demonstrate the best thinking and design in Portugal, and on the other, to give all the institutions linked to higher education in Design the opportunity to meet, confront and reflect on the direction of Design education and how it is contributing to the country's environmental, cultural, economic and social development."
The co-ordinates, developed by ISMAT students, reflect distinct and important current themes that meet the way we think about art and design, addressing environmental responsibility and respect for planet earth.
ISMAT would like to thank the organisation for this opportunity.
