Research explores new approaches to Speculative Design in an international academic context
Professor David Palma, from the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design at ISMAT, visited the University of Split as part of the Erasmus+ Programme, where he presented his ongoing PhD research on Speculative Design.
During his visit, he worked with third-year students of the Visual Communication course, presenting and testing introductory resources on Speculative Design developed as part of his research. He also had the opportunity to discuss various aspects of the topic with the course director, Professor Dr Ivica Mitrović, a specialist in the Speculative Design approach and responsible for several relevant projects in the field.
This collaboration highlights the importance of knowledge sharing and international cooperation in the development of Speculative Design, fostering new approaches and methodologies that enrich both academic research and design education.
