ISMAT student wins gold in the -58kg category and secures a place at the 2025 European University Championships
Tiago Lopes, a 2nd year Sports Science student and representative of the ISMAT Students' Association (AEISMAT), stood out at the National University Taekwondo Championships by becoming National Champion in the -58kg (male) category.
The athlete was accompanied by his coach and master Tiago Carito, from the Portimão Taekwondo Club, whose guidance was fundamental to this achievement.
With this victory, Tiago Lopes secured a place at the 2025 European University Taekwondo Championships, which will take place from 22 to 25 August in Warsaw, Poland.
An achievement that highlights his talent and effort, taking ISMAT's name even further in university sport.
